Obituary

Thaddeus Christoper Jones II (TJ) of Utica New York passed away after a lengthy health battle on February 24th 2025 at Wynn Hospital.

TJ was born August 12, 1981 to the late Thaddeus C. Jones and Kathleen A. Reynolds/Jones of Utica. TJ attended Utica City School District until he ultimately got his GED. TJ worked as a Forman for S&R Sloan for many years.

TJ was known for his love of sports , if you knew him you know he was a die hard NY knicks and NY Mets fan. You could also catch him playing basketball on the courts of Utica or Football for the Utica Yard Dogs. TJ enjoyed spending time with his family and friends , he also had a great passion for cooking and grilling no matter the weather!

TJ is survived by his sons Thaddeus Christopher Jones III and Xavier Jones. His ex wife Tiffany Carson , mother to Thaddeus Christopher Jones III. His siblings Thaddeus Walton , Olivia Jones , Jessica Jones , Jelisa Jones. TJ is also survived by several nieces and nephews , including his pre deceased niece Lacey Lynn Hurwitz. Friends and family are invited to attend his services held at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 1123 Court St., Utica NY 13502 on March 5th 2025. Calling hours start at 12pm-1pm with services to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be held immediate after. Celebration of life will be announced at the services.
