I will miss Rose and her warm welcome whenever I came back to Utica. She was such a faithful and interesting person. Rose never complained about anything and had the most beautiful handwriting as she journaled her daily activities. She lived a life full of love and joy and will be deeply missed. Sending deepest condolences to Jack and Kathy and Dick and Elaine and family.

I well remember Rose and Louis from many, many years ago. Back in the day, when we came to Utica to visit family on upper West Street, I usually was sent to their market on James Street for something extra that was needed for our meal. They were very friendly people and made a "farm boy" feel welcome. Years later, when they found out I attended Notre Dame High School with John, I was a real hit with Rose. My deepest condolences to all of Rose's family. I know she will rest in peace.
