Obituary

Robert P. Grimaldi, Sr. died September 24, 2018, peacefully, at his home.

He was born on April 19, 1936 in Utica son of the late Fred and Anglina Pugliese Grimaldi. He was educated in the Utica Schools attended the Utica School of Commerce.

Robert worked at General Electric Radio Receiver for many years. He graduated from the Utica School of Beauty Culture and was the owner and Operator of Bobby Jo’s Beauty Salon and Owl Nest Ceramics. He was Past Vice-President of the Hairdresser’s Association.

Robert was very active in many organizations, a 50 year member of the Moose, 50 year member of the Eagles, 50 year member Knights of Columbus, 50 year member of the Color Corps, 50 year member of the Sons of Italy, 50 year member of the Alhambra, the AARP and a 50 year member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society.

Robert had a strong Roman Catholic faith.

He married Joanne Pachura and together they have shared 60 years. They traveled in the United States and in Europe.

Besides his wife Joanne, he is survived by his daughter Joanne Aughe; his son Robert II.

Robert went to Jesus peacefully.
