Philip Anthony Lacelle, Sr. was called home by the Lord with his family by his side after a brief illness.

He was born March 14, 1957, to Robert and Frances (Maxim) Lacelle of Clayville, NY. He attended Sauquoit Central School graduating in 1976. On April 2, 1977, he married Cynthia Goff of New Hartford, NY. They shared an amazing bond of 45 years.

In 1978, Phil enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country honorably until 1982. He was then employed at Homogeneous Metals of Clayville, NY for 30 years. In 2013, Phil and Cyndi became the owners and operators of Village Florals in New Harford, NY.

Phil loved spending time with his beloved family. Spending numerous years traveling with his five children to hockey and figure skating events. He was a baseball coach for many years in the Clark Mills Little League Program. Phil had a passion for classic cars, The New York Yankees, and being outdoors. Especially, the many memorable family camping trips with the Shasta.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia (Goff) of Clinton, daughter Dana and Bo Canaguier (Marysviile, PA), son Steve and Terry (Wallkill, NY), son Phil, Jr., Marisa DeCola, and Cianna (Clayville, NY), son Andy and Anne (Golden, CO), son Derek and Kelly Grosso (Syracuse, NY), Daughter-In-Law Rachel Lacelle (Clinton, NY), brother Bob and Linda Lacelle (Waterville, NY) and their daughter Jelena Lacelle and Ryvel Tetteh (Worcester, MA), Uncle Fred Lacelle and Barb Arcuri (Utica, NY), and Aunt Rosemary Arnold (New Harford, NY).

He is also survived by 9 beautiful grandchildren whom he adored; Ryan, Will, Sophia, Carlie, Tyler, Hadley, Grace, Logan, and Olivia. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Fran and his mother and father-in-law, Doris and Ed Goff.

A Mass of Christian Burial Celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church in Clinton. There are no calling hours. The family will greet friends following the Mass.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the medical staff at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Dr. Lutz and his amazing team at St. Joesph's Health Hospital, and Upstate University Hospital for their compassion and care.
