Obituary

Nyah Mway, age 13 of Utica, died on June 28, 2024. He was born in the Umpium Camp in Thailand on August 8, 2010, to his mother Chee War and father Ka Lee Wan.

Nyah was a student in the Utica School System, having just completed 8 th grade. He was a member of the Buddha Dama Thuka Temple.

Nyah is survived by his parents, Chee War and Ka Lee Wan; his brothers, Thoung Oo and Maung Myint; his sister, Paw War; and many other family members.

Services were held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 1123 Court Street, Utica.
