Myron R. Sierson, 81, of Clinton, died on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

He was born on February 12, 1943, in Utica, son of the late Myron B. and Margaret Cusworth Sierson. He graduated from New Hartford High School the class of 1961 and Utica College of Syracuse University class of 1965. Myron married Judy Bell on November 24, 1966, at St. Paul’s Church in Utica. He was a science teacher for the Utica City School System andretired after over 30 years of teaching. After retiring, he continued to teach at Messiah Christian School and Notre Dame High School. He also had a photography business on the side.

Myron was a member of the Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Utica. He was the past Master of the Amicable Lodge #664 F. & A.M. Myron also served as the Cub Master for Pack 14. He loved his time at the St. Lawrence River and enjoyed fishing with his free time.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of Clinton; children, Melinda Boufford and her husband, Chris of Utica, Kristian Sierson of New Hartford, Kirk Sierson, Deansboro and Brian Sierson of Rochester; grandchildren, George, Brynn and Peter Boufford, Christian, Madeline, James and Austin Sierson, Jeremy Sierson and 2 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be on Wednesday at 6:00 pm at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm prior to the funeral.
