My mother, Margaret Olin, was the daughter of Frederick, Sr. and Lydia Morrison.

Margaret was the wife of Vernon Olin, Sr. Together they had Marjorie, Vernon Jr., Donna, Judy, Jeffery, Patty, Sharon, Karen, Betty, Robin, and Jimmy.

She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Too many people to count, she has seen 7 generations in her lifetime. It wasn’t always sunshine and roses, but she was a strong person in many ways.

Margaret lived with Jodi and her family for 14 years. Their little girl used to call her Mar, because at the time she couldn’t say Margaret. Mom passed on Jan 22, 2025, due to an illness.

Her funeral will be at the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, 1123 Court at York Street, Utica, NY 13502, from 12 – 2PM. For anyone who can’t make it, it will be on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/3879893868898879

Charles Morrison is the last of the family, but not the last generation to carry the bloodline. Mom, happy journey, and please put in a good word for us! We all love you.
