Obituary

Margaret C. Reilly-Holohan, 79, of Utica, died on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in her home.

She was born on June 2, 1945, in Enid, OK, a daughter of the late John Cullen and Margaret Murray Cullen. She graduated from New Hartford High School and St. Lawerence University. In 1981, she married Richard Holohan in Somerville, MA and he died in 2017. Margaret was a District Manager for H&R Block for many years. She was a member of the Ft. Schuyler Club in Utica and Women of Rotary in Utica.

Marget loved nature and Astronomy.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Preuss and her husband, Keith Sack; grandchildren, Victoria and William Preuss. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Cullen.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the UPD and UFD for all the help and support over the years.

The funeral will be on Friday, March 28, at 11:00 am at Friedel Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
