Lyubov Rasko Yaromich, age 54 of Deerfield, New York and formerly of Village of Mankovichi, Brestkaya Oblast, Belarus was called to be with the Lord on March 12th, 2025. She passed at the Wynn Hospital in Utica, New York surrounded by her children and loved ones. She was born July 27th, 1970 in Stolin, Belarus; a daughter of Yefim and Nadyezhda Rasko.

She received an education in Manchovich, then went to Stolin to continue her education. Lyubov went to Olaine, Latvia and studied Confectionery and Culinary Arts. Around this time she was baptized. On January 4th, 1989 Lyubov and family left Belarus and went to Vienna, Austria for two weeks. After they stayed in Aprilia, Italy until May 31st, 1989. Lyubov emigrated to Utica, New York with family to escape religious persecution and oppression. Lyubov devoted her life to the Lord God Almighty and her family whom she held dear to her heart.

In America, she began working at Conmed and at a local greenhouse. She attended MVCC until her father grew sick with Leukemia and passed in 1991. She stayed by his side until his last moment. Years later she would go on to care for her mother who faced health ailments until her mother’s passing in 2022. Lyubov adored her parents and always joyously shared the cherished memories she had with them.

Lyubov sewed suits at H. Friham and Joseph & Feiss sewing factory. After the factory closed, she was employed at Hemstrought’s Bakery as a baker and cake decorator. She also held employment as a waitress at Rutger Restaurant, St. Joseph’s nursing home, and as a translator for the Utica Refugee Center. Lyubov met her husband at Calvary Gospel Church in New York Mills; they would end up getting married and having six children together. Lyubov brought her children up at Calvary Gospel Church and Redeemer Church. She also attended Slavic Penticostal Church. She found much joy in raising her beloved children and instilling in them the righteous way to live. Lyubov held close relationships with her family. She would pray on the phone with her sister Yelena, and had fond moments of family gatherings at her younger brother’s house. Her hobbies included gardening & enjoying nature, singing along to gospel, listening to sermons, and cooking homemade dishes with her children. She spent most of her time enjoying quality time with her children. Lyubov praised her children and their various accomplishments. She made sure to instill a diligent work ethic in her children’s minds. Lyubov raised her children emphasizing the importance of education, faith in God, biblical principles, fruits of the spirit, and the value of working towards what is worthwhile. Even in her final weeks she encouraged her children to pursue opportunities that lead to a better future and to keep the faith of Jesus Christ.

Lyubov is survived by her beloved children; Rosa (30), Michael (28), Angela (27), Suzanna (26), Jennifer (24), and Marianne (22). Her brother Leonid Rasko and his wife Natalya Rasko, sister Yelena Tkachuk , brother Fyodor Rasko, sister Natalya Melnikov and her husband Gennadiy. Nieces and nephews Vadim, Misha, Valera, Sasha, Nelya, Jessica, Veniamin , William, Sulamita, Leah, Diana, Ruvim, Rachel, Maria, Yefim, Snezhana, Dennis, and Vanessa. The family would like to thank Pastor Vasily Zhushma, the church, and everyone who reached out and prayed for our family.

Service will be on March 18th, 2025 at Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 1123 Court St, Utica, NY 13502 at 7:00PM. Burial will be the next day at Forest Hill Cemetery at 11:00AM.
