My deepest sympathy for your loss, my dad was Ted Conboy who worked side by side with him.

A BULLSEYE at 13 miles by the USS Rochester wiped out a Red gun emplacement at Kyongsong and destroyed more than 40 North Korean troops, smashing their island ridge position with a single shot, according to a published Navy bulletin.

Air spotters described the feat as "uncanny". The Rochester has fired more than 6,000 rounds against enemy positions and emplacements.

Her sharpshooting crew includes two New Hartford boys, Jack Stetson and Ted Conboy.
