James E. Dunlap, III (Bubba), 56, of Rome, died on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at his home.

He as born on November 24, 1968, in Charleston, West Viginia, a son of the late James E., Jr and Carolyn Thompson Dunlap. James worked in maintenance with Human Technologies Corporation in Rome.

With his free time, he loved going to the casino.

He is survived by his siblings, Tersea Moss and her husband, John of Ilion, Scott Dunlap of Rome and Angela Joslyn and her husband Fran of Rome; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Westmoreland Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
