Condolences

We were so sorry to hear about Ellen’s passing. Ellen, Ms. Lauterbach to my children, was my youngest son’s teacher in second at St. Mary’s. We will remember her with great fondness. She was kind and patient with our overly energetic son!

May your memories of Ellen bring you comfort and keep her spirit close to you. Ellen and each of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Ellen always had a smile on her face. She was such a beautiful, joyful, caring person to be around. She was an amazing teacher.
I was sad to hear the news of her passing. She had so much more to give.

Such a tragedy for a most beautiful woman, inside and out, to have been taken from us far too soon. I was lucky enough to work with Ellen and know that she was a master of her craft and had so much more to give. It is good to read that you lived a life that was full, and you brought joy to many people Ellen. Rest in peace my dear friend and I am sure you can still practice your dance moves in heaven.

My deepest condolences so sorry for your loss

We are absolutely heartbroken to hear about Ellen. What a beautiful, well written story about her life. Ellen was amazing and we will miss her. I know Drew is already missing his Scoflaw adventures with Ellen and Tom. Sending so much love and strength to all of her family and friends.

Sweet Ellen, I don’t have the words for how hard it is to have you leave us so soon. I do promise to try and love as well as you always did here and are still as you watch over us AND sing with wild abandon and joy with friends at any chance I have.
