I am deeply saddened by this loss and send my sympathy to the family. Diane was definitely family to us all in Sitka. Her jokes and spunky attitude honestly got me through a lot of days and made me look forward to coming to work. She was exceptional in what she did and patients truly loved her. She talked so fondly of her family and looked forward to her beach vacation with you all every year. She had a big heart with a say it like it is, badass exterior and I loved that. I feel fortunate to have had her in my life. Thank you all for sharing her with us.

So very sorry to hear of Diane`s passing. I worked with her many years ago at St. Elizabeth`s when your Mom was evening supervisor. What a life force she had, a wonderful sense of humor, and as your Mom shook her head and said, "She`s my rebel." Sad she will not be out in the world with that special energy and goodness she exuded. The Keenes were neighbors for many years to the Browns on Arlington Terrace. I have such good memories of your wonderful Mom and Dad too. You are in my prayers. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Denise Brown

I was a childhood friend of Diane on Arlington. As an only child, i loved being included in the Keene clan. I remember 8 o'clock droop where Mrs Keene would bring out a big bowl of popcorn. Diane and i got into our share of trouble, once locking Judd in my playhouse. Even at a young age you knew Diane was special. She was such a free spirit. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

Dear Dianne,

You were one of the best people I know. You made work a pleasure. You were so funny to sit next to and complain with, about doctor's orders. You made my days easier. I especially enjoyed us 2 old ladies watching the younger techs "solving the world's problems." Then later, we were making fun of them. LOL!
Good times...

I appreciated you baking my birthday cake every year!

I thought you made the cutest eskimo at halloween! It was funny that you got
reprimanded for dressing like a native...as an eskimo myself, I thought you were ADORABLE! : )

You were an excellent mom, grandma, and dog mom.. I loved comparing notes on our grandkids and exchanging dog stories...

You were also a standout when it came to Ultrasound. You were so conscientious and all the patients loved you ! And most of the doctors. We were so looking forward to you coming up...it's not the same here without you.

I miss your smile, your sarcastic wit and caring ways. I can't believe you are gone. You are in our prayers.

Your friends forever!

Linda and family.
