Obituary

Diana J. Anello, 73, of Utica, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2017, at the Abraham House with her loving family by her side.

She was born on November 2, 1944, in Utica a daughter of the late Victor and Rose Anello. Diana graduated from Proctor High School and worked a Metropolitan Life Insurance for many years.

She was a member of Historic St. John’s Church in Utica. Diana had a passion for making beautiful crafts.

She is survived by her loving sister and brother in law, Carm and Anthony Annuich of Clinton; two nieces, Jolene and Joseph DiBrango of Albany and Andrea Annuich of New Hartford; several cousins, Maria Elena Heck, Sylvia Amoroso and Dave and Fran Wallin. Diana also leaves behind special friends, Mrs. Felicia Sciortino and her daughter, Jean Trippe.

The family would like to thank the Abraham House for their unconditional care and support.

The funeral will be on Wednesday at 10:30 at Historic St. John’s Church, Bleecker St., Utica, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Entombment will in Resurrection Chapel. The family will greet everyone following the Mass. Arrangements are with the Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, New Hartford.
