In Memory of Christopher Isom

Obituary

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Christopher Isom, age 45 our beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed unexpectedly on Friday, October 21, 2022 at home in Utica, NY.

He was born in New Hartford, NY to Sheryl Rowlands and Kevin Isom. Chris graduated from New Hartford High School in 1996.

He is survived by his son Christopher N Isom and (fiancée Alyssa Steltz) of Waterville, NY two sisters and brother-in-law. Kelly Osborn of Utica, NY and Danielle (Matt)Rogers of New Hartford, NY and his brother Steve Stressel II, New Hartford, NY and his mother Sheryl Stressel and dad Steve Stressel of New Hartford, NY. Several Aunts ,Uncles, nephews and niece.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Isom , maternal and paternal grandparents, and his beloved Aunts, Mary P Gorey and Anne Linck.

Chris will be remembered by those that really knew him as a person that would always give whatever he had to help another person in need.
His hobbies and interests included bike riding, fishing, reading and talking to friends about how proud he was of all his son’s accomplishments at such a young age.

At his request no visitation or funeral services will be held. A family memorial service will be held upon his son’s return from his National Guard Deployment in Africa.
