Dear Mary Malone, Jimmy and Maureen + families,

My sincerest condolences for the loss of your Mom. Our thoughts of support and prayers are with you at this time.

Midge was an incredible person and had a tremendous impact on the communities she loved and lived in: Barneveld, Old Forge, The St Lawrence River region and Utica! I am lucky to have known her, admired her and sincerely appreciated the friendship over the years she and your Dad had with my parents and family.

Sending you love, support and virtual hugs to each of you, your spouses and your children . Hugs to the 'other' McCarthy's, too, the Shermans, with the loss of their beloved Aunt.

Very sorry to hear about Aunt Midge. She was the best and loved by everyone. So many memories of family together.

Midge is a childhood friend from Old Forge and Utica. I looked up to her when I was a little girl. As an adult, she was my friend. Her children are wonderful people and attest to her talent and effort as a mother. Rest well, good and faithful servant.
