In Memory of Anita Marshall

Obituary

Anita Marshall passed away on Feb. 17,2025 with her loving family by her side.

She was born on Feb.21,1932 in Lewiston Maine the daughter of Eveline Goulet and Joseph (James) Auger. Anita met her husband Robert Marshall while he was serving in the US Navy. The two married on November 27, 1954, had two children Robert Jr. & Paul and raised them in Utica.
Anita, with her husband and children, opened the family business, Star Bakery, Utica and Whitesboro NY. A hard worker who loved working with her family. She cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed Bowling, Dancing and casino gambling.

She is survived by her son Robert Jr. and wife Charisse, son, Paul and mother of his children Kelly Kelly; her grandchildren Heather (Marshall) Corns and husband Mike III, Robert III Marshall and wife Erin, Katrina (Marshall) Knapp and husband Trent, Courtney Walchusky and husband Joe, Olivia (Marshall) Kulosman and husband Tarik; 12 Greatgrandchildren, Marley Tersten, Teagan Morehouse, Mike IV , Maverick, and Mackenna Corns, Quinn and Lydia Marshall, Mason Knapp, Jackson and Lincoln Walchusky, Lana and Lainey Kulosman. Anita was predeceased by her husband Robert Marshall Sr, beloved grandchild Tyler Marshall and 11 of her siblings of Lewiston ME.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at St. Lukes Home, her roommate Lynne for caring and keeping constant watch over her while she was a resident at St. Lukes Home, and her main caregiver at home, Michelle Alberico.

Our lives will not be the same without her. Her guidance, advice, love and happiness will always be forever in our hearts.
