Condolences

To Colleen, Aubrey, and Evelyn.
My name is Grant Reed. Alistair and I were roommates at Colgate our freshman and sophmore year.
I am so sorry for your loss. Alistair was always such a kind, funny, sweet person. His smile was infectious and his humor was endearing.

It took me longer to figure out how smart Alistair was - mostly because he was too modest to brag. By the end of his time at Colgate he was recognized by the head of the Computer Science Department as the “most talented student he has ever known.”.

I feel privileged to have known Alistair.

I hope you can find comfort during this difficult time.

My wife and I want to send our heartfelt condolences to the Campbell Family. We never had the opportunity to meet Professor Campbell. However, our son Michael had the good fortune of studying under him at Hamilton College.

Professor Campbell made such an impression on Mike hat he would come up in conversations when he would call home on the weekends. Mike adored him and was happy to inform us that on several occasions he had the opportunity to attend Mass with him at the chapel on campus.

We are heartbroken for your loss. Your entire family has been and will continue to be in our families’ prayers. To his children I would add this, your father had a positive impact on our son, and I would bet that he is only one of hundreds of people scattered around the country that he helped. We will not forget him or you. God bless you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Professor Cambell one my favorite professors ever. He was a wonderful man and always had a smile on his face. May he rest in peace.
